Head Varsity Coach
Lindsey Sutton
Lindsey brings 9 years of volleyball coaching experience including high school, club, and home school teams. She played 4 years of volleyball at Charles B. Aycock. Her senior year she led the team in kills, was awarded MVP, and earned an 3A All Conference nomination. Though she was recruited to a few colleges, at that time she decided not to continue with volleyball. In 2014, she came back to CBA as JV head coach and varsity assistant coach, and that experience sparked her love for coaching. She has coached for USA Volleyball at a few different clubs including Carolina Shockwave, Lenior Fusion, Wilson Elite, and now she is a member of Eastern Elite based in Goldsboro. During her time spent with USAV she has coached U15-U18 teams who have earned medals in various regional and out of state tournaments, and two East/West Carolina Regional championships. She was asked to join the coaching staff of the JCHE Jaguars home school program in 2018 as the head coach for their first conference varsity team. They ended the season with a very competitive record at that level, took silver at the first HSPN East Coast Volleyball Nationals, and a great showing at the Conference tournament in Greensboro. Since then, she has assisted almost every year with the Jaguars at clinics, practices, and games.

In which they had very competitive records and won silver in the very first HSPN East Coast Nationals tournament in 2018. In 2018 she led her team in blocks and she received the all tournament award for NCHEAC. She also played with various club teams during the off seasons including NCYVL, Triangle Volleyball Club , and Wilson Elite where she was again coached by Lindsey Sutton. Abbey was recruited by a college but decided to stay local where God called her to be. In that time she has assisted with occasional Jaguars practices and stays involved in the sport. He moved on to become the head coach for the Carolina Premiere 14U team out of Zebulon the following year before sitting out of coaching to watch his youngest daughter Sarah play USAV from the stands. Her final and best two seasons of club volleyball were spent playing for Eastern Elite on both their 17’s and finally on their 18’s team. Once Sarah completed her club volleyball tenure, Russell returned to coaching and spent one season as the 12U head coach at Joco with Sarah by his side as his assistant coach. Russell is entering his fourth season as a coach with Eastern Elite where has has coached 14s, 15s, and 16s. He's glad to be a part of the jaguar team!
Head Middle School COach
Leah Fisher
Leah started playing Jaguars at the age of 14. Though she started playing at an older age than most, she quickly developed a love and passion for the sport. From then on, she played volleyball year-round. She continued to play Jaguars from 2018 to 2022. When the Jaguars were off-season, she played pickup with her sisters or played in Garner. She also played two seasons of 18U club. No matter how much fun she had on her other teams, the Jaguars were her home. After she graduated, Leah coached as a middle school assistant and returned this season to coach as head. Her goal as a Jaguars coach is to guide the players through the same lessons, experiences, and friendships she got to have for all those years. When she's not playing or coaching volleyball, Leah works as a barista in a local coffee shop and takes classes at Wake Tech. Her plan is to transfer to a university and become a graphic designer.
